The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association & Georgia Tech College of Architecture Building Construction Program have teamed up for a Green Awareness 5K Run/ Walk. A portion of the proceeds will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that builds & renovates transitional housing facilities that serve homeless families and individuals in metro Atlanta. Take advantage of the “Going Green” informational areas & stick around for refreshments and giveaways! Parking in the Klaus Deck.

Race begins/ends at Village Place Brookhaven Shopping Center, 1430 Dresden Drive, Atlanta at intersection Dresden Dr & Caldwell Rd, about 1/3 mile east of Peachtree Rd). 5K starts 9:30 am For the safety of all participants, inline skates and pets are not allowed in this event. Special warm-up before the race provided courtesy of Operation Boot Camp. Admission to Candler Park’s annual Fall Fest, arts & music festival on Sat & Sun is free.
